RYE Student’s Visits. Our club is actively involved in RYE program. Deepak Bodhani is working at the district level. This year we have decided to do one more activity with RYE students. This was conducted for both Agashe School Interact Club and Rathi School Interact Club. We started this activity around 15th September. We involved IA and EA club members in Panditrao Agashe High School ( PAHS ) and Interact Club members of Ramkumar Rathi High School ( RRHS ). We involved the teachers Devika madam, Nirmala madam, Savitri madam and Lincy madam from Agashe School and Madhura madam from Rathi School. They formed the groups of the IA and EA members ( 10 to 12 students per group ) to collect the information of Brazil, Mexico, USA, France, Spain. They collected the information for Country’s Location, weather, crops, languages, life style, family life, education system, industries etc. Each group was asked to compile the information. Meanwhile Rtn. Hemant Atre and Rtn. Deepak Bodhani made the arrangements of the visit of RYE students to the IA and EA members. Deepak had short listed the RYE students for the visit. For PAHS, 6 RYE students were brought to PA School exactly at 8.30 AM. For RRHS, 1 RYE student visited along with one rebound student. Anand Hall of school was full of IA and EA members, holding the paper flags of the countries above. All the RYE students were seated on the stage. From RCPM, President Bhavana, Neha, Smita Kulkarni, Mukund and Vivek Kulkarni were along with Deepak and Hemant. After this IA and EA members formed the circles as per their groups ( one for each country above ) and RYE students mixed with each group. IA and EA members started asking questions and RYE students answered. Language was not a barrier. It was very lively exchange and all students were really excited. They really interacted well with RYE students. After 30-35 minutes each group was called on the stage with the RYE student for a photo. Finally the vote of thanks was delivered by the IA and EA members and the function was concluded. All of the students participated and were genuinely excited. RYE students were really happy and responding well and enthusiastically to the questions. Overall it was a very happy, lively and informative exchange. Everybody involved was happy to be part of this function. Prize Distribution by Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) students’ for Interact (IA) and Earlyact (EA) clubs in Panditrao Agashe School. January 18, 2019. Prize Distribution by RYE Students. After the RYE Students’ visit to the school, we have asked Interact and Earlyact Club members to prepare the report regarding the countries. Teachers formed the groups and allocated one country to each group. Each group was asked to study various aspects of the country like climate, customs, crops, economy, industry, agriculture and culture, arts etc. Members collected a lot of information and compiled it neatly in the reports. They also included photos and pictures. Teachers provided the guidance wherever necessary. The reports were collected by Rtn. Mr. Hemant Atre. On January 18, RYE students were asked to come to the school at 10.30 AM in Agashe School and 1.30 PM in Rathi School. This was made possible by Deepak Bodhani. He had communicated to RYE students regarding the competition and the prize distribution function. RYE students were asked to check the report and give marks based on the two major parameters, the contents and the presentation. After the ranking was done the numbers were finalized. Teachers, Devika madam, Nirmala madam, Lincy madam and Savitri madam, made the arrangements meticulously for Agashe School and Madhura madam and Madhavi madam for Rathi School. Interact Club President conducted the function. It started with National Anthem. After this, President Rtn.
