DGN Rtn Anil Parmar and his wife Rtn Hemlata graced the occasion as well as AG Rtn Sandeep Patil. • Our first weekly meeting took place on July 1 conducted by July Kalayatris. In this programme we had Nihira Joshi Deshpande, a well-known singer, in an interview. Attendance reached more than 90 persons. • “Coffee pe charcha” concept was piloted with the Anniversary of President Sneha and Anna Uday. Lots of “charcha” and cake cutting took place. • On July 2nd, President Sneha, PP Padma and PP Madhav visited DG Pankaj’s office for a formal approval of our Sattelite club consisting of 13 members of Vertex. • PP Rtn Bhavana Chahure was felicitated for becoming an AG. A point to note, she is our DG’s club’s AG! • PP Rtn Madhav was felicitated for becoming the Dist Membership Co-Director. • Rtn Amita was felicitated for getting 6 RYE confirmed participants this year. A great beginning for Youth! • Ann Arusha was felicitated for her completing the Eco bricks project. This inauguration took place on 3rd July at a very small and crisp event at the Katraj Zoo. The design of th4e Bunny installed was by PP Rtn Bhavana and our Annette Ananya Joglekar was given the task of painting the same. A big thank you to Rtn Shubha Pradhan for her support in getting permissions and inviting Mr. Khaire. Mr. Khaire has very graciously promised us help in our various projects. • PP Rtn Mukund was felicitated on the completion of our Global Grant project of Happy School Club Admin: o Concept of book reading to be initiated in the club. o Quiz on Weekends – this will continue and is a good initiative as it will give Rotary information to all. Projects o Teacher’s Day being on 8th Sept this could be celebrated by felicitating the teachers of schools other than regular schools. Rtn Shubha Pradhan will be the convenor. o Curriculum of Joy – we will be trying for a Scale Grant for this project. The Concept Note require for this will be provided by the RamKrishna Mission. o Nutritional Guidance – concept wherein the girls of 16-20 age group be given an understanding of nutritional value for future health and well being. The idea of involving Rotaractors who can maybe promote the idea with a skit can be looked into. Rtn Amita suggested we should look into all the students and not just the girls o PP Rtn Madhav proposed another project for Aerators. This is a small device to be plugged onto your tap and it controls the amount of water. This can be proposed at various societies. Madhav will be the convenor. Membership o Two members were proposed at the BOD. Profiles have been sent and home visit is to be scheduled. o New member induction is proposed in August o Satellite member induction will take place on 15th July Foundation o EREY – Every Rotarian Every Year to be implemented o Try and have as many PHFs as possible o Three major donors are in the pipeline Youth o RYE – we already have 6 Inbound and 6 outbound for this year. Their country allocation will be done in the next week o Rotaract already doing something on Entrepreneurship development. RCPM to help out o Interact installations in the pipeline PI o Prabhat Publications – we should send photo and write up to be published o Instagram training for all was suggested to give a comfort level for all to use o New brochure and film in the pipeline Bulletin o Bulletin will have Rotary Information in every bulletin o List of PHFs to be published o Each Director will send a write up / info on any Dist/RI event IT o Capturing was being carried out. This year quality improvements, timeliness and more systematic approach to be finetuned o Photos on Google drive – will be uploaded in one folder and the respective Avenue directors will move selected photos to their respective folders o IT policy for Data to be decided o Cloud finalisation for “additional backup” o Work Flow (Document Flow) application to be considered o It is very important to take permission from all faculty before publishing their sessions o All are requested to use one email and contact details for all Rotary communication and database Meeting Ended with Vote of Thanks given by Rtn Surekha at 1.15 PM.
