President Blog

My dear RCPM family members,

It is indeed a privilege to become the President of our amazing club. Throughout the years, our club has earned a stellar reputation in the rotary world for its adherence to protocols, robust systems, and unwavering dedication to impactful work. As we embark on the upcoming year, our commitment remains steadfast, driven by passion, conviction, and a shared desire to create a lasting impact on society.

The theme guiding our endeavors this year is TEAM: Together Everyone Achieves More. This theme underscores our commitment to inclusivity and recognition of every member of the RCPM family. We value each individual for their unique contributions, perspectives, experiences, and knowledge. Every achievement, no matter how big or small, deserves celebration and acknowledgment.

Our Immediate Past President, Surekha, and all past leaders have propelled our club to new heights year after year. As Team 24-25, we are proud to inherit this legacy and pledge to uphold its excellence. The enthusiasm and encouragement from our members serve as a powerful source of motivation that will drive us throughout the coming year. Together, we are dedicated and energized to deliver our very best.

Your involvement and participation are crucial to our club's success. I invite each of you to share your ideas and passions for service. Let us collaborate to identify innovative opportunities that will enable us to make a meaningful difference in our communities. Together, we possess the collective power to transform lives and uphold Rotary's core value of "Service above Self."

Our club boasts a rich history of impactful projects, ranging from supporting underprivileged schools and healthcare facilities to promoting environmental sustainability, village development, youth empowerment, and more. These initiatives reflect our deep-seated commitment to effecting positive change.

In the coming year, we will continue our impactful initiatives. We will undertake low-cost, high-impact projects in addition to our grander projects in healthcare, village development, personal development for women and children, and water conservation and more that we envisage to drive through the year. In addition to our existing rich repository of far-reaching projects, a special emphasis will be placed on supporting nomadic underprivileged children from rural areas, ensuring their access to education, healthy living conditions, and a brighter future.

At the heart of our club's success lies fellowship and assimilation—key elements for fostering camaraderie, collaboration, and a shared sense of purpose among members. Fellowship extends beyond mere camaraderie; it embodies friendship, mutual respect, and support nurtured through regular meetings, social gatherings, and personal interactions. These moments strengthen bonds and create a welcoming environment that encourages active participation and engagement. I urge you all to come forward to be organisers as well as participants of such get-togethers and forums.

Assimilation, on the other hand, ensures that new members seamlessly integrate into our club. We are committed to warmly welcoming new members, providing them with information about Rotary's values and activities, and pairing them with experienced mentors who can guide them through club procedures and initiatives. By actively involving new members in discussions, projects, and committees, we ensure they feel valued and empowered to contribute their talents and ideas.

To enhance fellowship and assimilation, we intend to organize diverse activities and meetings that cater to varied interests, fostering vibrant communication and interaction among members. We also intend to create opportunities for collaboration on service projects, further strengthening our bonds while making a meaningful impact on society.

So, here’s to great bonding, friendship and dedicated service to society. Together we will achieve more!

Warm Regards
