Greetings to all Metropolitans,

Welcome to RY 2023-24!!

Firstly, I would to acknowledge the remarkable work done by our immediate past President. Under his leadership, our club achieved numerous milestones and made a significant impact in our community. I, together with my board of directors, am committed to building upon this legacy and ensuring that we continue to serve as a beacon of hope and change.

The Rotary Club of Pune Metro has always been known for its unwavering commitment to service above self, and I am dedicated to upholding these core values throughout my tenure. Together, we need to make a positive difference in the lives of those who need it most, both here as well as the world over.

One of my key objectives for this year is to enhance our community outreach programs. I believe that by actively engaging with our community and understanding their unique needs, we can develop initiatives that truly make a lasting impact. I would like to encourage all members to actively participate in these programs and lend their expertise and passion to our collective efforts.

Education and youth development will also be a significant focus during my tenure. Our young minds hold the key to a brighter future, and it is our responsibility to provide them with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed. I am committed to supporting educational initiatives, scholarships, and mentorship programs that empower our youth and shape tomorrow's leaders.

Water conservation is amongst the very important and lifesaving avenues wherein our Club can make a huge difference.  May it be rain harvesting, saving water consumption by providing aerators to the community at large, or helping farmers by reviving the dead borewells in and around Pune. Let us put our heads together and see how we can overcome some of these issues.

Lastly, I want to emphasize the importance of fellowship and camaraderie within our club. Rotary is not only about service but also about forming lifelong friendships and connections. Our Club has a history of 25+ years! Let us come together, share our stories, and celebrate our achievements as we embark on this incredible journey of 23-24.

I am confident that with our collective dedication, passion, and the spirit of Rotary guiding us, we will accomplish great things this year. Together, we can create a lasting impact and make a positive difference in the world.
