RCPM Bawarchi Day Rotary Club of Pune Metro celebrated its Bawarchi Day on 31st March 2019 at Sevasadan Hall. Convener Anna Shekhar Shahane had selected his Bawarchis well in time to address the challenges of getting the hall only at 3 pm and having zero wastage of food. Team zeroed in on the full Menu after discussing three options. This helped in proper planning. In the mean while Anna Uday contacted the club members to assess the confirmations. In the next meeting the estimate of all raw materials was arrived at along with the work schedule that fixed the various responsibilities on the Bawarchi Sub Teams led by 8 experienced members (as can be seen in the chart.) On the day of the event, few teams cooked at their places and few did the same job at Sevasadan itself from 3 pm to almost 7:30 pm The sumptuous menu included:- • Watermelon with soda and watermelon balls as Welcome Drink • Sundal as starter • Masala Idli • Dahi Wada • Bisi Bale Bhath with Appalam Chatni and • Pineapple Sheera Overall efforts paid off when a total of 65 people attended this event.
