2 Minutes Jalwa On 9th September 2018, we all witnessed the event “2 Minutes Jalwa” with lot of enthusiasm. The event was jointly hosted by the District Cultural Committee & our club. Around 15 clubs from district 3131 participated in the event. The performances displayed by all the artists were mind blowing. The program began with the National Anthem followed by the welcoming of the Dignitaries and a welcome song presented by our Annet Ananya Joglekar. President Bhavana welcomed the chief guest DG. ShaileshPalekar. The responsibility of anchoring the show was carried on very well by PP.Aneel. The performances on stage showcased variety of topics with a wonderful presentation by the participant clubs. Some of the acts touched the social issues very effectively. All the performances proved to be entertaining and thought provoking. The first prize was bagged by RCP Gandhi bhavan who displayed “The Song of India” in a very touching manner. Second prize was won by RCP Metro & the third by RCP Sinhgad Road. The prize distribution was held at the hands of DG.Shailesh. PP. Aneel introduced the judges Mr. Ashutosh Nerlekar& Mrs. Kavita Tikekar. They were felicitated by President Bhavana. The judges expressed their appreciation and also gave valuable tips to the participants. Overall, the event was enjoyed by all the Rotarians, Anns, Annas & Annets. The programs and the acts displayed convinced us that any message can be conveyed very effectively in a span of just 2 minutes. I congratulate all the winners, participants & volunteers involved in putting up a grand show.
