RCPM sponsored Rotaract Club of MCoE conducted a lecture on "Basics of Income Tax and Taxation of salary income with rules and examples" on Sat 27th June from 1130 am to 1 pm. It was a virtual meeting using Google Meet software. Four other Rotaract clubs also collaborated in the same. From RCPM, President Mukund, Rtn Hemant Atre, Rtn Surekha Deshpande, Rtn Deepak Bodhani and Ann Neelima Bodhani were present.

| Partner Clubs | The lecture was delivered by PP CA Padma Sahane of RCPM and CA Kisan Pandule ( working with Shahane & Co ). Kisan presented the topic starting with background of Income Tax Act, various terminologies related to taxation. Later he presented examples of how income tax is calculated on salary income. PP Padma also explained a few topics and offered clarification, when needed. Later students asked a few queries. Kisan and Padma answered queries satisfactorily. It is a difficult topic and both the speakers explained it well with different examples. This lecture was conducted by Rotaract Club of MCoE very well. Students were happy about the contents and understood the topic. |
