This project is an example of RCPM which differentiate it viz a viz others. Phalode village cluster ( of 3 villages near Bhimashankar ) is adopted by RCPM. This project is classical epitome of RCPM's long term thinking while planning and executing projects. Wherein we believe output ( benefit arising) from first project should serve as an investment in next project and thus creating series of projects ( moving the beneficiaries thru the value chain ) till we reach the final objective. Here the final objective is to reduce People migration from villages to Cities by reducing Gaps between the two. We started with the solving challenge related to providing water availability in these 3 villages, at door step/farms all thru the year. Following up on a successful piped drinking water scheme in Village Savarli, water resource development/augmentation schemes for irrigation of farm lands were taken up. Many wells were dug, Bandharas for water storage, diversions dams are being constructed . The project will continue for 1 more year. Rs 40 Lakhs outlay was for the year on watershed activities
