On the occasion International Peace Day, RC Pune Metro distributed Manache Shlok booklets to school children. Manache Shlok are sacred scriptures in Marathi language meaning A dialogue with the Mind. The book is made up of 205 verses that advise ethical behavior and love for God. It teaches us to use our rationality to discern between good and bad, and to resist any temptation to do wrong. Some shlokas emphasize the importance of honesty and encourage us to always speak the truth.
